Welcome to Ashley MacLeod’s Dance Dreams It is my pleasure to begin sharing my talents and experiences with you. My goal as a leader is to help students gain knowledge of dance and to provide the best dance education to children ages 3 years old and up. I am committed to the art of dance and continue to stand as the leader in dance training in Southern NH. With a positive, fun, productive environment, I hope to bring a fresh perspective to students with music and dance enhancing development of active, healthy, happy children. Energetic, expressive, fun classes introduce students to different dance styles enhancing independent freedom of expression through movement. The studio offers weekly classes from September through June for recreational to competitive dancers. Competition teams are selected for those students most committed to the finest technique and artistry and are offered master classes and audition opportunities. The goals I wish to instill in children are qualities that may be carried out in ever day life... creativity, determination, and self confidence. The spacious Hollywood style studio has sprung flooring, full length mirrors, and a viewing area for parents. Class offerings include ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, lyric, and hip hop. Whether you are beginner or advanced, serious or just dancing for fun, I know you can find your home here at Dance Dreams.
An accomplished dancer, baton twirler, and commercial print model, Ashley brings an innovative, young, fresh perspective to dance students of all ages. As leader and owner/artistic director of Dance Dreams, her goal is to provide a positive experience, helping children gain knowledge of dance, emphasizing strong technique, and offering challenging combinations with a unique style. Beginning her artistry at age 2, and performing as a soloist since age 5 winning numerous platinum, gold, and special awards for dance, she holds many National talent and modeling titles throughout the country. Ashley has had amazing opportunities to study with well known choreographers including Dan Karaty, Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Mandy Moore, and Nick Lazzarini, of TV’s “So You Think You Can Dance”. Also, the legendary Maurice Hines and A.C. Cuilla. She has danced in LA, Las Vegas, and NYC in an off Broadway show and a music video “The Shoot”. Her students have received many overall high scores, special awards, platinum, and gold medals for their performances regionally. Ashley is an honors graduate of Dean College, majoring in dance and graduate of Dance Teachers Club of Boston. Her credits include * Producing a Miss Starquest and Miss Headliners. *Choreographer to Miss Granite State and contestants of the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship program. (a preliminary to Miss America) *Member of the Dean College Dance Team then later choreographed for Dean fall show. * Awarded top choreographer 2 years in a row.
A passion for dance and love of children, Amber is endeared by her students both in pre-school classrooms and dance class. Dancing since the age of 5, she has assisted teachers at the Dance Academy in Haverhill during her younger years. Amber brings fun, humor, and a technical edge to Dance Dreams. Amber is a former platinum/gold level dancer for both groups and as a soloist regionally. She performed in NYC at“Jump” with choreographers and judges from “So You Think You Can Dance”. She has also performed in local Nutcracker Productions. In 2008, she was awarded Miss Dance Diva for excellence and overall score for a solo to “No Man”. Amber continues her dance studies, traveling to Boston and NYC annually to keep up with the changing dance world. She enjoys her work with children in day care and is a great asset to the studio for excellence in dance as well as her make-up artistry and hair styling. She is a recent graduate of Michael’s School of Hair Design & Esthetics. |
